History of Jhajj Lumber
After building a successful career in the British Columbian lumber industry, Parm Jhajj decided to launch his own company, Jhajj Lumber Corporation, in 1999. Along with his wife, Kulwant, and his loyal team of more than 10 employees, Parm has grown the company into a key player in the lumber wholesale and remanufacture business.
Operating with integrity is the cornerstone of the company, and Parm Jhajj leads by example. It comes as no surprise then that his team is made up of industry peers he has known and worked with for decades.
Giving back to the community is also important to Jhajj Lumber, which is why Parm and Kulwant started up the Jhajj Foundation, Events to support local charities that work in addictions recovery and homelessness.
In 2016, Jhajj Lumber opened its own lumber distribution and remanufacturing centre just a few minutes down the road from its office headquarters in Surrey, B.C. The extensive facility serves as a distribution centre and remanufacturing plant.
Next year, in 2019, Jhajj Lumber will celebrate its 20-year anniversary.
